(We refer to the announcements dated 18 May 2021, 20 May 2021, 2 June 2021, 14 June 2021 and 8 July 2021 (“Announcements”) and the circular to the unitholders of CMMT dated 21 May 2021 (“Circular”). Unless otherwise stated, the definitions set out in the Circular shall apply herein.)

On behalf of the Board, CIMB Investment Bank Berhad wishes to announce that the Fifth Amended and Restated Deed dated 13 July 2021 between CapitaLand Malaysia REIT Management Sdn. Bhd. (formerly known as CapitaLand Malaysia Mall REIT Management Sdn. Bhd.) and MTrustee Berhad (“Fifth Amended and Restated Deed”) has been registered with the Securities Commission Malaysia (“SC”) on 20 September 2021 pursuant to the SC’s letter dated the same date, which was received on 21 September 2021. As such, the effective date of the Fifth Amended and Restated Deed and the change of name of the trust from “CapitaLand Malaysia Mall Trust” to “CapitaLand Malaysia Trust” is 20 September 2021.

The Fifth Amended and Restated Deed will be lodged with the SC within 7 days from the date hereof.
