We refer to the announcements dated 25 July 2023, 27 July 2023 and 3 August 2023 in relation to the DRP (“Announcements”). Unless otherwise defined, the definitions set out in the Announcements shall apply herein.
On 25 July 2023, CLMT announced its second quarter results ended 30 June 2023 and approved the 1H 2023 Income Distribution.
It has also been determined that the DRP shall apply to the 1H 2023 Income Distribution, which allows Unitholders to reinvest their 1H 2023 Income Distribution in new CLMT Units, where the gross electable portion will be the entire 1.19 sen per CLMT Unit (of which 1.14 sen per CLMT Unit is taxable and 0.05 sen per CLMT Unit is non-taxable in the hands of CLMT Unitholders) of the 1H 2023 Income Distribution (“Electable Portion”).
The DRP provides the Unitholders the option to reinvest the entire Electable Portion or part of the Electable Portion in new CLMT Units.
If the Unitholder elects not to participate in the DRP, then the Electable Portion will be paid wholly in cash.
The Board of Directors of CMRM wishes to announce that the issue price of the new CLMT Units to be issued pursuant to the DRP applicable to the 1H 2023 Income Distribution has been fixed today (“Price Fixing Date”) at RM0.4767 per new CLMT Unit (“Issue Price”), based on the 5-market day volume weighted average market price (“VWAMP”) of CLMT Units up to and including 4 August 2023 of RM0.5300, being the last trading day immediately prior to the Price Fixing Date. The entitlement date for the 1H 2023 Income Distribution and the DRP have been fixed on 21 August 2023.
Barring any unforeseen circumstances, the new CLMT Units arising from the exercise of the DRP will be listed on the Main Market of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad on 26 September 2023.
