CAPITAMALLS MALAYSIA TRUST ("CMMT" OR THE "TRUST")
(I) CHANGE OF NAME OF THE MANAGER FOR THE TRUST;
(II) PROPOSED NAME CHANGE OF THE TRUST FROM "CAPITAMALLS MALAYSIA TRUST" TO "CAPITALAND MALAYSIA MALL TRUST"; AND
(III) PROPOSED AMENDMENT TO THE TRUST DEED DATED 7 JUNE 2010 (WHICH WAS SUBSEQUENTLY AMENDED AND RESTATED ON 20 JANUARY 2015) CONSTITUTING CMMT ("ARTD")

On behalf of the Board of Directors of CapitaLand Malaysia Mall REIT Management Sdn. Bhd. (formerly known as CapitaMalls Malaysia REIT Management Sdn. Bhd.), the manager of the Trust (“Manager”), Affin Hwang Investment Bank Berhad (formerly known as HwangDBS Investment Bank Berhad) wishes to announce that following the change of name of the Manager from “CapitaMalls Malaysia REIT Management Sdn Bhd” to “CapitaLand Malaysia Mall REIT Management Sdn. Bhd.” on 11 September 2015, the Manager proposes to undertake the following:
(a) change of name of the Trust from “CapitaMalls Malaysia Trust” to “CapitaLand Malaysia Mall Trust” (“Proposed CMMT Name Change”); and
(b) consequential amendments to the ARTD constituting CMMT by way of a second amended and restated trust deed to be entered into between the Manager and AmTrustee Berhad, the trustee of the Trust to give effect to the Proposed CMMT Name Change and such other amendments of an administrative and/or technical nature (“Proposed Amendments”).
The Proposed CMMT Name Change and Proposed Amendments shall be collectively referred to as the “Proposals”.
